May Days!

Welcome to monthly update number 3.  Another month is in the books, our 90th month in business.  As the school year winds down and the weather heats up, we hope you'll keep us in mind for your shaving needs.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day is less than a week away, May 12th.

A Classic Shaving setup makes a great gift for mom. The double edge blades give a closer shave than a cartridge, and can add an extra day between shaves.  A good brush helps lift the hair and exfoliates the skin, and the creams have a much higher quality than what you'll find in a can gel.  You can find the razors, brushes, & soaps we recommend for women in our Women's Collection.

The Classic Stainless

The Classic Stainless razors are rocking and rolling.  With the premium finishes now available, we are able to offer the Satin & Polished Calypso Handles on the Classic Heads.  

I have added a Matte Finish Calypso Razor to the pipeline, so the original finish will be available soon.  The pricing will be the same as the other 3.5" handles: the Kronos & the Bamboo.

We've finally sorted the slant production issue and are moving forward.  We're expecting them back in stock in 2 weeks or less.

Aluminum

The Aluminum razors are fully stocked and ready to ship.  You can view our collection here: Aluminum Safety Razors .

Windsor

The copper handles are in the pipeline.  I will enable back ordering as soon as I have an estimated date of delivery.  We are making 100 copper handles to cover the caps we have on hand.  This will be it.  Once they are sold out, they will be gone forever.  

We will continue to stock the stainless for the foreseeable future.

The Windsor Satin SE1 is here.  They offer the same great shave as the Classic Stainless & Aluminum SE1.  The rinse ports are the same as the Windsor & it's currently only available in Satin.

Something New

The new razor stands, brush handles, and shaving bowls are coming together.  The brushes will be available with a 24mm Silvertip Badger Knot or the 24mm Synthetic Timberwolf Knot.  I hope to have them listed soon. 

In the Pipeline

X1

The prototype is slightly delayed due to the slant cap issue.  Once that is resolved, we will be back on the development.  Stay tuned for more updates.

Travel Handle

The slant caps and the X1 have taken priority, so this is on the back burner for now. I'll revisit this as time permits.

Partnership(s)

No new updates.  We have been working with a couple companies to give classic shaving more attention, outside of the niche.  There are many benefits to our style of shaving and its time to get the word out.  More on this in the next 2-3 months.
