Levels of Efficiency

Mild - These razors are great for all shavers, but are particularly beneficial for those with fair hair, sensitive skin, or are new to wet shaving. Typically applies to base plates with blade gaps under 0.45 mm. 

Regular (Average) - These razors are great for most shavers, including those with fair or average hair and average skin. Great for those who prefer a closer shave than a mild razor will provide. All of our Slant and Single Edge razors fall into this category, with blade gaps that fall in the 0.45 mm to 0.75 mm range. Depending on how frequently they are used, these may cause irritation for those with sensitive skin.

Heavy - These razors are ideal for those who love a super-close, efficient shave, and are particularly beneficial for those with a coarse beard. We would not recommend these for those new to wet shaving. Typically applies to base plates with a blade gap of 0.75 mm and up.
